Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 31 Announces Our 2010 Young Eagle Event will be held September 11th at the Creswell Airport.

If you are between 8 and 17 years old, The EAA Young Eagles program wants to offer you the chance of a lifetime. Turn your dreams into reality with a free Young Eagles flight and become one of over 1 Million Young Eagles !

Registration begins at 9am Saturday, September 11th and the first flights will start by 10.

Breakfast and Lunch will be availiable at family friendly prices.

While plucking dead blossoms from my Petunia plant I noticed this unusual spider so decided to take a photo of it. After loaded the shot in my computer I saw that the design on it's back looked like some sort of 'space alien'. Interesting. Enjoy.

Saw smoke from a lightening strike in the hills above our place. Flew my RC plane with camera to check out the smoke. At the same time we alerted the fire department and explained we had a drone checking out the situation.
