Event Description

The second annual Haunted House at Spencer Creek Grange will be held Friday and Saturday October 29th and 30th, 7:00-10:00 PM. Spencer Creek Grange is located at the corner of McBeth Rd. and Lorane Hwy. The event is two nights only and is not for the faint of heart. Admittance is $5.00 “per head”, children under 10 yrs. are recommended to be accompanied by an adult. The proceeds from the Haunted House will be used for many of the Grange community service projects that benefit the public. For more info call the Spencer Creek Grange (Jamie Gaber) at 541-554-0524.

While I was in Winchester Bay to take sunset photos Sunday night, I saw such a huge number of seagulls soaring very high in the sky. There were tens of thousands of them and they were flying hundreds of feet in the air.

I always enjoy attending these reenactments. Especially since at one time I was a member of this group. A really nice bunch of people.
