Event Description

The City of Eugene Adaptive Recreation Program hosts a support group for individuals and families/caregivers who have had a stroke or assist someone who has experienced a stroke. Beginning Jan. 5, the group will meet every Wednesday, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Hilyard Community Center, 2580 Hilyard St. Free. Meetings may consist of speakers, videos or open forums.

These are female Rufous Hummingbirds. They are the most common hummingbird in Oregon. The male Rufous have much more red on their heads, back and belly with a red throat. I make my own nectar, the red dye is not good for them.
