Event Description

Parents, kids, and teens: discover new options at the Alternative Education Fair on Saturday, January 29, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., at the Downtown Eugene Public Library. Admission is free.

The Alternative Education Fair is a great opportunity to learn about a wide variety of programs in Eugene and Lane County. The Fair will include displays and representatives of more than a dozen local private schools, charter schools, Eugene District 4-J alternative programs, and home schooling organizations

These are female Rufous Hummingbirds. They are the most common hummingbird in Oregon. The male Rufous have much more red on their heads, back and belly with a red throat. I make my own nectar, the red dye is not good for them.
