Event Description

Eugene Elks Lodge #357 invites you to attend JANLAN 2011. This is an annual computer gaming event focused on providing a positive environment for communal computer gaming. This annual charity event donates a portion of the proceeds to The Elks Children's Eye Clinic at the OHSU Casey Eye Institute.

This event is a LAN party, where players bring their computers together to play games, win prizes and compete in a friendly atmosphere. For event details visit the event website listed below. This is a 72 hour event held in a secure and safe environment.

Ticket prices are $25 for three full days of gaming. This is a great event for a good cause and seating is limited to 150, so reserve your seat now!

While plucking dead blossoms from my Petunia plant I noticed this unusual spider so decided to take a photo of it. After loaded the shot in my computer I saw that the design on it's back looked like some sort of 'space alien'. Interesting. Enjoy.

Saw smoke from a lightening strike in the hills above our place. Flew my RC plane with camera to check out the smoke. At the same time we alerted the fire department and explained we had a drone checking out the situation.
