Event Description

The Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce will hold their 9th annual Business Faire on March 10, 2011 from 4:30-7:30 at the Cottage Grove Community Center. The event is the major fund raising event for the Junior First citizen Schlorship award given in January every year. Chamber of Commerce Business members will purchase tables and display brochures and give aways from their business. Also each vendor donates a door prize which will be given away throughout the evening. Over 50 business' will be represented including non-profit organizations. The Greeters also will hold a raffle giving away major prizes. Food will also be available by one of our non-profit clubs at a reasonable price. This event is open to the public. While I was in Winchester Bay to take sunset photos Sunday night, I saw such a huge number of seagulls soaring very high in the sky. There were tens of thousands of them and they were flying hundreds of feet in the air.

I always enjoy attending these reenactments. Especially since at one time I was a member of this group. A really nice bunch of people.
