Event Description

Start at Coiner Park on Main Street and purchase a hearty breakfast served by the Kiwanis Clubs. Browse through the flea market at the park, find your treasures and pick up a map of the garage sales in the area. Gourmet Dogs and hamburgers are on the menu for lunch in the park, also served by the Kiwanis Clubs.

Be sure to buy raffle tickets for Great Prizes, when you pick up the Garage Sales map at the Information Booth.

All proceeds support the Kiwanis projects that benefit children.

Applications for a Flea Market space and young entrepreneur space (ages 8 – 18), or a listing on the Garage Sale Map are available in Cottage Grove at Sears and The Best Little Print Shop.

Garage Sale Maps are available at the park and various other locations in Cottage Grove.

Presented by the Cottage Grove Kiwanis Clubs, in partnership with the Cottage Grove Sentinel.

While I was in Winchester Bay to take sunset photos Sunday night, I saw such a huge number of seagulls soaring very high in the sky. There were tens of thousands of them and they were flying hundreds of feet in the air.

I always enjoy attending these reenactments. Especially since at one time I was a member of this group. A really nice bunch of people.
