Event Description

Now in its eighth season, the Eugene Symphony's American Encounters program brings distinguished composer John Harbison to Eugene for a week-long residency culminating in a performance of his two most popular works. Principal flautist Kristen Halay shines in Harbison's Flute Concerto. Tchaikovsky's Winter Dreams rounds out this engaging performance.
