Event Description

The First Tee Willamette Valley is a youth development program of the Eugene Family YMCA that uses the game of golf to teach valuable life lessons.

•For information/class registration, call or visit our website.

•$100 session fee: Scholarships available; no child will be denied access to The First Tee of Willamette Valley Golf program based upon the inability to pay

•Session activities include: access to all FTWV sanctioned activities during the session (weekly classes, golf clinics, open and supervised play & discounted use of range and course facilities), allows them to utilize the golf courses and Learning Center and enrolls them in the The First Tee Life Skills Program.

•All proceeds go to The First Tee Scholarship Fund

Mission: To impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

Founding partners PGA, LPGA, USGA, Masters, PGA Golf Tour provide support to over 200 First Tee Chapters throughout the USA.

While plucking dead blossoms from my Petunia plant I noticed this unusual spider so decided to take a photo of it. After loaded the shot in my computer I saw that the design on it's back looked like some sort of 'space alien'. Interesting. Enjoy.

Saw smoke from a lightening strike in the hills above our place. Flew my RC plane with camera to check out the smoke. At the same time we alerted the fire department and explained we had a drone checking out the situation.
