Event Description

Cal Young Jazz Band is having an all day fundraiser and free concert (6-8 p.m.) at PaPa’s Pizza on Coburg Rd. on Tuesday, April 5th. All day 50% of your purchases go directly to support the band! Come enjoy CYJB’s big band sounds from 6-8 p.m. while you eat! Go to www.calyoungjazzband.info to download and print flyer. Be sure to download, print and bring the flyer with you to PaPa’s to ensure that the proceeds go to the Cal Young Band program. Cal Young Jazz Band is still playing music in our region thanks to the strong support of our community.

While I was in Winchester Bay to take sunset photos Sunday night, I saw such a huge number of seagulls soaring very high in the sky. There were tens of thousands of them and they were flying hundreds of feet in the air.

I always enjoy attending these reenactments. Especially since at one time I was a member of this group. A really nice bunch of people.
