Event Description

The City of Eugene Adult Services program offers free weekly adult walking groups to adults. The Walk 'n' Talkers walk 3-5 miles at a quick pace. The route varies and may have hills or rough pavement and there is usually a coffee stop along the way. The group walks rain or shine year-round and departs at 9:00 a.m. sharp every Friday from Campbell Community Center, 155 High St.

Walk to better health on Thursday mornings with Walk With Us. FREE. Drop in to the front lobby of Petersen Barn Community Center, 870 Berntzen Rd., at 9:30 a.m. and walk with a group around the neighborhood for about an hour.

While I was in Winchester Bay to take sunset photos Sunday night, I saw such a huge number of seagulls soaring very high in the sky. There were tens of thousands of them and they were flying hundreds of feet in the air.

I always enjoy attending these reenactments. Especially since at one time I was a member of this group. A really nice bunch of people.
