The public is encouraged to come into Woodcraft at 1530 Coburg Rd (Sheldon Plaza Shopping Center) to participate in a free woodworking class. The class will be titled - Introduction to Woodworking, and will cover a wide variety of woodworking skills. The skills covered are relevant to woodworking as a hobby but is also applicable to a job environment. We will encourage woodworking as a stress reducing activity that has the benefit of making side money. A free project plan will be offered as well as information related to the other classes we offer. The class will last approximately 1.5 hours in length and run from 12:00 noon to 1:30 on Wednesday April 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.

This event will be limited to individuals that have lost their job, can provide evidence of the loss, and show ongoing efforts to gain employment. All materials and costs for the class will be provided free of charge.

This free opportunity is being offered as a way of saying thank you to the community for supporting our business in good times. We are providing this service to help individual's better manage their stress level given the difficult economy. We are hopeful that these individuals will find woodworking to be a fun and relaxing hobby and a positive way to make extra money on the side.
