Event Description

The Eugene Downtown Lions Club is asking you to donate your old no-longer-needed eyeglasses to help others see better. The Lions will be out promoting the collection from 11 am to 5 pm on Thursday and Friday.
You can take the glasses to these locations:
Eugene Wal-Mart Stores - W. 11th & Delta Oaks
Oakway Center
Market of Choice 29th & Willamette

Please donate your old eyeglasses so that others in need will be able to see clearly.

While I was in Winchester Bay to take sunset photos Sunday night, I saw such a huge number of seagulls soaring very high in the sky. There were tens of thousands of them and they were flying hundreds of feet in the air.

I always enjoy attending these reenactments. Especially since at one time I was a member of this group. A really nice bunch of people.
