Event Description

The LCC Native American Student Association invites the public to its annual Powwow Saturday, December 5, in the gymnasium, building 5, main campus in Eugene, 4000 E. 30th Avenue. Grand entries will be at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. with dinner served to participants from 5-7 p.m. This is a free event. All drums and dancers welcome. No alcohol or drugs. While I was in Winchester Bay to take sunset photos Sunday night, I saw such a huge number of seagulls soaring very high in the sky. There were tens of thousands of them and they were flying hundreds of feet in the air.

I always enjoy attending these reenactments. Especially since at one time I was a member of this group. A really nice bunch of people.
