Event Description

The 2nd annual Willamette Valley Blues & Brews Festival will be held August 6 & 7, 2010, at Island Park, Springfield, Oregon and benefits Springfield/Eugene Habitat for Humanity and is a food drive for FOOD for Lane County. Music on three stages, including Curtis Salgado and Lloyd Jones on Friday and Chris Cain on Saturday. Beer from throughout the NW and wines from Lane County. Tickets $8 per day or $14 for weekend. While I was in Winchester Bay to take sunset photos Sunday night, I saw such a huge number of seagulls soaring very high in the sky. There were tens of thousands of them and they were flying hundreds of feet in the air.

I always enjoy attending these reenactments. Especially since at one time I was a member of this group. A really nice bunch of people.
