Three young children are waiting for their forever family, this morning... and they are hoping for parents who can appreciate a good laugh. Let me introduce you to Tori, Lizzie and Dylan who are this morning's Heart Gallery kids.
We met siblings Tori, Lizzie and Dylan at a hair salon, where they were getting their hair cut, by stylist Blu Clark.
The attention grabber of this group is Dylan.
This 5 year old was energetic and made us all laugh.
Middle child, 8 year old Lizzie stayed close to the children's case worker, Honor Harvel.
They say, she's the quiet one.
Big sister Tori is 9 years old and just out of 3rd grade.
("You do times tables, you do math and then you do morning work and stuff.")
Tori and Lizzie just moved into a new foster home, earlier in the week, so it's been kind of a tough week for all of them.
But, through it all, they continue to keep their smiles.
("They are the sweetest kids they each have the most adorable personalities and the greatest smiles they've just fun to hang out with.")
Honor says, these children have been in and out of foster care for 5 years.
The children know they are up for adoption and although they don't understand all that that means, they know it means they'll be together, with a family...forever...so they've started to plan their bedrooms.
("I want it pink with spaceships and Hannah Montana.")
The children also hope to live with family pets.
Honor hopes for a family that can handle these 3.
("Really, they need somebody who's going to be patient and take care of them and be consistent. That's probably the most important thing is consistency because the last 5 years have been so inconsistent for them.")
