Beth Ford
Beth joined the news team in August 2010 as a reporter and newscast producer. Beth comes to KVAL from KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri, where she worked as a reporter, producer, and anchor. While in Missouri, Beth’s favorite journalism memories include reporting and producing a series on federal stimulus spending in the state. Beth has also worked in radio, as a political reporter for KMOX News Radio 1190 (CBS, St. Louis) based in the Missouri State Capitol.
Beth grew up in SW Portland, and graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism (Go Tigers!). She’s thrilled to be back in the Pacific Northwest.
When she's not reporting or producing, Beth loves to read, is learning to like running, and volunteers with Court Appointed Special Advocates and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
