Denae D'Arcy

Denae D'Arcy is the new 11 p.m. anchor on KVAL. She is a seasoned journalist with international news experience.

D'Arcy is happy to be back in the U.S. after living in London for two years, earning her master's degree and freelancing on stories including war training with NATO forces in Denmark.

Denae last worked as an anchor and reporter at WKRC in Cincinnati, Ohio, for three years; WATE in Knoxville, Tenn., as an anchor and reporter for two years; and morning anchor at WYMT in Hazard, Ky., for one year.

Beginning her career in Atlanta, Ga., Denae also interned at CNN and trained with Headline News anchors.

In her spare time, Denae writes travel articles for Avantoure magazine, an online publication, and was recently published in Arrivals and Departures, an Australian magazine. She enjoys gardening, traveling and blogging.
