Seth Wayne
Seth Wayne is the lead weather anchor for KVAL News. He forecasts the weather during the 5, 6 ,10 & 11pm weekday newscasts.
Seth returns to the Pacific Northwest after a brief stint forecasting the weather at KGUN in Tucson, Arizona. "I enjoyed my time in the desert, but no place is quite as beautiful as Western Oregon.", says Wayne. "I'm thrilled to be back. It's good to be home." You might remember Seth from the morning news, a position he held from 2002 until his departure in late 2007. Seth also worked at stations in Pittsburg, Kansas and Anchorage, Alaska. Seth grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida -- studied Journalism at Oakland University and meteorology through the USDA Graduate School. He is a member of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society.
