PORTLAND, Ore. -- Whiskey, India Pale Ale and huckleberries.

Sounds like the provisions for a camping trip in Eastern Oregon.

The judges of Travel Oregon's first cocktail contest agreed.

The "Hike, Fish & Go Camping Punch" created by Cheryl Meloy of Portland pairs Pendleton Whiskey with Terminal Gravity IPA from Enterprise, Ore., and huckleberry syrup.

Meloy won the grand prize package of barware from Macy's and a two-night getaway to the Oregon Distillers Guild Spirits Tasting on Oct. 11 at McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale.

All seven finalists earned a spot for their recipes in the Oregon Bounty Recipe Book and $200 in lodging gift cards courtesy of Best Western Hotels of Oregon.
