What's in Al's Crock Pot? Crock Pot Lasagna

Ingredients

12 Lasagna Noodles

1 LB Ground Beef

1 TSP Italian Seasoning

1/4 Cup of Water

1 28 oz Jar Spaghetti Sauce

1 Carton (16 oz) Cottage Cheese

2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

Break noodles in half.

Place half on bottom of a greased crock pot.

Stir Italian seasoning into meat.

Spread half over noodles, and then layer half the sauce, water, cottage cheese, and mozzarella over beef.

Repeat layers ending with mozzarella.

 

Cover and Cook for 4-5 hours.

Do not cook more than 5 hours, as the noodles will overcook.

Use the regular kind of noodles, not the new kind you do not have to cook.

For a lighter option, replace the beef with ground turkey, and use low fat cottage cheese and mozzarella.
