Douglas County sheriff's deputies said Friday that 59-year-old Barbara Lea Tooley was pronounced dead at the scene, and 88-year-old Helen Berleta Long was taken to the hospital in Grants Pass. ATLANTA (AP) — U. S. health officials are taking another look at their advice about closing schools because of swine flu. The acting chief of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday that one reason to close schools is to prevent the virus from spreading to the community. On Saturday, health officials said two of those cases were kids from two different Eugene schools. According to Betsy Meredith, R.N., the two kids are friends. One is a student at Oak Hill School.
