Eugene Emeralds to introduce new General Manager

By KVAL Sports

After 28 years as the General Manager, Bob Beban will assume a different role with the Ems.

The 2010 season will be the beginning of a new era for the Eugene Emeralds in more ways than one.

As the Ems get ready for the move to P-K Park, Elmore Sports Group is moving into a new direction in the front office as well.

Bob Beban, who has been the General Manager of the Ems for the past 28 seasons, has been replaced by Allan Benavides.

The Ems have scheduled an introductory news conference for Thursday.

Bob Beban and his son Bryan will stay with the Ems, but have had their roles in the organization scaled back.
