President of the directors board Sam Spayd has commented that the tele-fund raising campaign will be important to the furthuring of the Oregon Coast Military Heritage Museums future goals.

The Museum has estimated it needs close to $300,000 to complete the construction of the new Military Museum to be built on Kingwood near the Florence airport.

The purpose of the Oregon Coast Military Museum is to honor our veterans by educating our public.

Also donors can sponsor Walkway bricks or bench's for the museum or become Flagpole sponsors. All come with different amount of donorship dollar amounts.

Spayd also commented, "for the Museum to be successful in creating this wonderful tribute to the men and women of past, present, and future generations of citizen-soldiers, the Oregon Coast Military Heritage Museum needs donations from all over the Central Coast area."

At this time work on engineering and getting permits are being done, and the goal is to break ground this summer and to have the building up by November 11th, 2010 and the Oregon Coast Military Heritage Museum open by 11/11/2011.
