Communities Siuslaw Bridge Closure
Repair crews are working on the Siuslaw Bridge in Florence this week.

Starting Monday the bridge will be closed to traffic from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The bridge will be shutdown between those times through Thursday, March 18.

Crews are repairing the center structure of the bridge.

FLORENCE, Ore. (AP) – The Florence City Council has moved closer to banning fireworks in Old Town.

The council voted 3-2 Monday night to prohibit the fireworks, even sparklers and smoke bombs.
