All lanes are now open on OR126W (Florence-Eugene Hwy)at milepost 36, near Badger Mountain, east of Walton, where a semi truck was disabled by snow earlier. Motorists traveling at higher elevations in should carry chains and be prepared for winter conditions.

State Police tell KVAL news 2 trucks jackknifed and there was one minor traffic accident on the highway west of Veneta.

For the most part, drivers were slowing down and respecting the slick road conditions.
