From Lane Co. Waste Management
Do you want to learn how to reduce your solid waste, conserve natural resources, motivate others to change their habits, and make a difference in your community?
If so, please attend the next Master Recycler training in Junction City and join over 425 Lane County Master Recyclers that have contributed more than 14,000 hours of waste prevention education to the residents of Lane County since the program's inception in 2000.
The next course will be held:
- When: 6-9 p.m., Tuesday evenings beginning January 12th and continuing through March 9th, 2010 (The course also includes two or three Saturday morning tours from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
- Where: In the new Community Center across from the Junction City Library
- Who: All interested community members are encouraged to apply!
Class size is limited to 25 students per term. Completed applications will be accepted first come first served, based on the date and time applications are received. You may send your application by fax, email or regular mail. Additional applicants, beyond the 25 person cap, will be invited to a future training session.
