Communities New newspaper for tri-county area
The first issue of the new Tri-County Herald is scheduled to be available on January 21.

Nelson Rosales informed the Junction City-Harrisburg Chamber of Commerce that the newspaper will be printed twice a month for the first 2-3 months and then published weekly.

The crash happened before 3 p.m. Thursday. A KVAL photographer on the scene says a single car went into a ditch. He said it looks like just one person was in the car.

There are dead animals everywhere: An area off Love Lake Road has become a dumping ground for animal carcasses.

Carol Ivie said wants to change that.

"There are bones everywhere out here," said Ivie.
