Police find syringes in search of 'filthy' home

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - Officers raided a filthy home full of syringes and other drug paraphernalia Wednesday morning, the Springfield Police Department said.

Police serve a search warrant at the L Street home shortly after 9 a.m.

Inside, the found 7 adults. Officers arrested two people, 37-year-old Dennis Lowden and 38-year-old Bobby Boyd, on warrants; a third person, Sabrina L. Williams, 34, was arrested on charges of theft by receiving and frequenting a place where drugs are used.

Police got the search warrant after receiving complaints about illegal activity at the home.

Officers found syringes in the home, which they "found to be in filthy condition."
