The residents of Whiteaker's East Blair Housing Co-Op share a passion for the pedals.
"Everybody individually is extremely active in bicycle culture," says Office Manager Melanie Sicotte.
Melanie shares that it is not a mandate of the Co-Op, but many residents choose to use their bikes as much as possible. The Co-Op supports this by offering lots of space to store, build and repair them.
Bikes are not only used for transport but also for fun as represented in some of the more vibrant bicycles parked in front of 4th & Adams that can also be seen in local parades.
East Blair Co-Op is 100% occupied with 22 residents representing a wide range of ages who support community arts & activities including the Last Friday Art Walk.
