Property taxes are expected to go up from last year.
While most Lane County homeowners will see about a three percent increase, overall property taxes are expected to be up 4.6%.
Lane County tax payers will soon receive their property tax statements in the mail.
Statements will be mailed out tomorrow with the first payment due November 15th.

Lane County Assessor Jim Gangle says, "Thursday and Friday they should begin receiving them if they haven't received it by the middle of next week they might give us a call to get the information."
The continuation of tax levies, increases in assessed and real market values and new construction contributes to the increase in property tax collected this year.

Starting tomorrow tax statements will be available online go to http://www.lanecounty.org/at
