Bank robber's bomb was a fakeBy Arrianee LeBeau KVAL NewsEUGENE, Ore - A man was shot by police after he robbed a Key Bank branch at 2829 W. 11th Ave at about 5 pm, with what he called an explosive device. According to police the suspicious device the suspect had was not real. Police said the man is in critical but stable condition. They are not releasing his name. He was described as a 58 year old white man with a possible criminal history in California. Police have identified the officer involved in the shooting as Officer Joe Kidd. While I was in Winchester Bay to take sunset photos Sunday night, I saw such a huge number of seagulls soaring very high in the sky. There were tens of thousands of them and they were flying hundreds of feet in the air.  Civil War Reenactment
