KEIZER, Ore. - Three people ended up in the hospital when a car went off a road and straight into a home in Keizer.
The crash happened around 1 a.m. Saturday along 22nd Avenue North near Niagara Street.
Deputies said the driver was going too fast on a sharp right turn.
The car crashed through two fences and a small field before landing in Donna Swisher's front yard.
"I called 9-1-1 and tried to open the front door and the door wouldn't open," she said. "My husband went outside and he said no one was moving. He tried to get into the car to help them but he couldn't get in to open the doors. I just hope that they're going to be OK."
Deputies said both speed and alcohol likely played a role in the crash.
There is no word yet on the injuries of the car's occupants. Two men and a woman were in the car.
Last week, I was cruising on the Crown Princess with my 11 year old Grand-daughter. Just out of Skagway, while we were eating King Crab and looking for Whales, I noticed the Sun setting. Without paying much attention, I took a quick picture. I didn't know what I had until I blew it up.
With all the forest fires in the area, the smokey skies makes for some interesting sunsets.
First image is through a blue filter to give a blue tint, second image is the actual color of the moon after it made it up over the treetops. Third image is my son walking out on the dock, holding his cell phone, under the full moon. These were taken at William M. Tugman State Park near Lakeside.
