Update: Body found inside submerged vehicle
BOISE, Idaho - One man has been found inside a vehicle that went off the roadway and into Lucky Peak reservoir.
A man on scene positively identified the victim as his son, who's in his early 30's. Sheriff's investigators tell KBOI that they are investigating the incident as a suicide as there's no evidence the vehicle attempted to stop.
Crews tied inflatable balloons to the car to bring it up. It took about an hour to bring it to shore once it surfaced.
Emergency crews responded to the High Bridge on Highway 21 near Lucky Peak for a report of a car that went off the road near the bridge and plummeted into the water.
Ada County Dispatch says an eyewitness saw a car go off the road Thursday evening near the bridge and fall into the water below.
