OSU e-campus enrollment hits a new high

Oregon State University's extended campus is growing by leaps and bounds.

Online enrollment at OSU's e-campus program is up 17% compared to fall of 2006. Students can begin and complete their degree online without even setting foot on campus.

Total enrollment is just under 3,200 students.

E-campus director at OSU, David King, says, "I think the reason is maybe twofold. One is that we have a good product and we market it well. The other thing is we're at the right place at the right time. Growth in online course interest has grown phenomenally in the last 4 to 5 years."

15 accredited undergraduate and graduate degrees are offered through e-campus. Students from all 50 states and 14 countries are enrolled.
