Man wanted in WaMu robbery
Eugene Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are seeking the public’s help in identifying a young man who robbed a south Eugene bank on the morning of Friday, May 16. At 9:27 a.m. May 16, Eugene Police responded to a report of a robbery at Washington Mutual Bank, 2840 Willamette Street. Witnesses reported that a male suspect had entered the bank, presented a demand note to a teller, and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was displayed in the robbery.
At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark-blue beanie, a dark-blue hooded sweatshirt with a grey t-shirt underneath, blue jeans, and dark-colored tennis shoes similar to Skechers. He left the bank on foot and was last seen heading westbound through the parking lot in general direction of Market of Choice. Anyone with information about this robbery or the identity of the suspect is asked to call the FBI at 343-5222 during business hours or 503-224-4181 after business hours. |

The suspect is described as a young white male, about 18–20 years old, about 5-foot-7-inches tall with a medium build. He had blue eyes and messy, shaggy blond hair that could possibly have been a wig.
