Eugene Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are seeking the public’s help in identifying a young man who robbed a south Eugene bank on the morning of Friday, May 16.

At 9:27 a.m. May 16, Eugene Police responded to a report of a robbery at Washington Mutual Bank, 2840 Willamette Street. Witnesses reported that a male suspect had entered the bank, presented a demand note to a teller, and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was displayed in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a young white male, about 18–20 years old, about 5-foot-7-inches tall with a medium build. He had blue eyes and messy, shaggy blond hair that could possibly have been a wig.

At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark-blue beanie, a dark-blue hooded sweatshirt with a grey t-shirt underneath, blue jeans, and dark-colored tennis shoes similar to Skechers.

He left the bank on foot and was last seen heading westbound through the parking lot in general direction of Market of Choice.
