gas pump handle over $

EUGENE, Ore. - Some Oregonians still need gasoline not blended with ethanol. The state-mandated E10 fuel causes trouble for some engines, like boats, gas mowers, chain saws and some classic cars.

For folks who need the old regular, some filling stations now offer "clear premium" - gasoline without the ethanol.

It's illegal to pump this gas into a car unless it was built before 1955. However, you can fill up a can for home use in mowers, chain saws and other purposes.
