Nudist club holds open house

MARCOLA, Ore. -- The local nudist club is a place where folks turn the other cheek toward people baring it all.
The Willamettans held an open house Saturday, inviting anybody who wanted to strip down. One nudist said it's all about freedom. "Here I don't have to worry about anybody complaining about the way I'm dressed -- except for when I am dressed, they kind of make fun of me," said Bill Balfour. "You come here and you can pretty much do anything nude that you'd normally do wearing clothing." With more than 400 members, Willamettans is the largest nudist club in the Pacific Northwest. If you missed out on Saturday's event, another one is set for Aug. 23. |
