Porn actress buys home in Eugene, trouble with IRS

Janine M. James, 39, also known as Janine Lindemulder of Huntington Beach, Calif., pleaded guilty to one count of willfully failing to pay her outstanding federal income taxes. James is scheduled for sentencing Oct. 24. She faces up to one year in prison and a $100,000 fine. She will be required to pay all back taxes. A U.S. Attorney's Office spokesperson said the office would not talk about the case or the agreement until after sentencing. |

EUGENE, Ore. -- An adult film actress bought a $647,000 home in Eugene and bought a new Jeep and RV while knowing she owed more than $200,000 in federal income taxes, according to a plea agreement entered Friday in U.S. District Court, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a press release.
