Hunters find man's body along Willamette River
By KVAL Web StaffEUGENE, Ore. -- Deer hunters found the body of a man Sunday that appears to have washed on shore from the Willamette River. The body was found near Dodge Island Road around 2 p.m. on the Benton County side of the river. The body has yet to be identified. Investigators could not immediately determine a cause of death. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Eric Glass with the Benton County Sheriff's Office at (541) 766-6858. |
