Hunters find man's body along Willamette River

EUGENE, Ore. -- Deer hunters found the body of a man Sunday that appears to have washed on shore from the Willamette River.

The body was found near Dodge Island Road around 2 p.m. on the Benton County side of the river.

The body has yet to be identified. Investigators could not immediately determine a cause of death. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause.
