Club takes preschoolers to cut own Christmas trees
A visit to a Christmas tree farm turned into an elf help group when Santa showed up. By KVAL Web StaffPLEASANT HILL, Ore. -- What would christmas be without a tree? And what's more fun than cutting your own? The children from the Pearl Buck preschool got to do just that Thursday. Members of the Eugene Active 20-30 Club took about 25 of the kids out for a hayride, tree cutting and more at Northern Lights Christmas Tree Farm in Pleasant Hill, Ore. "Especially with how hard the economy has been and everything, it's definitely a help," said Jennifer Johnson, a mother of a Pearl Buck preschoolers. "It's so much fun for us to come out and do."
