EUGENE, Ore. -- Patches of ice and snow have made for slow going on Interstate 5, with both the north and southbound ramps at Beltline Road in Eugene/Springfield closed due to a multi-vehicle accident.

Traffic was slow on Interstate 5 southbound through Eugene this morning due to a jack-knifed semi. I-5 looked like a parking lot with more than 20 trucks stopped to chain up. All of Friday's accidents and problems were cleared up by 2 p.m., according to Springfield police.

Trees fell and delayed traffic on Highways 126 and 58.
