ALBANY, Ore. -- A heavyset woman robbed a bank in Albany, Ore., on Saturday, and surveillance images show a suspect who looks similar to the woman suspected in two other robberies in the last six weeks.

The Albany Police Department responded to the Wells Fargo Bank at 2100 SE Pacific Boulevard on the report of a robbery Saturday shortly before 3 p.m. A bank employee reported that a female suspect entered the bank and presented a robbery note. The bank employee gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect who then walked out of the bank. The suspect did not display a weapon during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a heavyset white female adult in her 20s, approximately 5-feet-5-inches tall with brown hair. She wore a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up on her head during the robbery.

The woman matches the description of a supsect who robbed a bank in Corvallis on Dec. 2, 2008, and in Roseburg on Jan. 5, 2009.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call the Albany Police Department Detective Unit at (541) 917-7686.
