Three arrested, young girl in protective custody after sheriff raids house
Amy Rae Ogbin, Daniel Anted Jones and Jonah Andrew Steinhebel face charges after sheriff's deputies raided their home in Lebanon, Ore. By KVAL Web StaffLEBANON, Ore. -- A 6-year-old girl was taken into protective custody during a raid on a house where sheriff's deputies found a marijuana grow operation and possible stolen property. The girl was taken into protective custody by the Oregon Department of Human Services. The Linn County Sheriff's Office arrested three people who live at the residence at 420 Crowfoot Road in Lebanon. Amy Rae Ogbin, 27, was charged with three counts of Child Neglect I, three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Daniel Anted Jones, 27, was charged with Manufacturing Marijuana within 1000 feet of a school, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Contempt of Court (Violation of Restraining Order), Unlawful Delivery of Marijuana within 1000 feet of a school, Child Neglect I, Endangering the Welfare of Minor and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance. Jonah Andrew Steinhebel, 28, was charges with Manufacturing Marijuana within 1000 feet of a School, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Theft I by receiving, Endangering Welfare of a Minor and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. Linn County Detectives were assisted by members of the Linn Drug Task Force. The Linn Drug Task Force is a multi-agency team that consists of members of the Linn County Sheriff's Office, Albany Police Department, Lebanon Police Department and the Sweet Home Police Department. The sheriff's office executed a search warrant at the house and found 24 marijuana plants, marijuana growing equipment, dried marijuana, methadone, other prescription medicines, drug paraphernalia and what investigators believe is stolen property from a recent burglary. |
