Knock, knock. Who's there? SWAT team
Hey, bud, have you seen the guy police are looking for? By KVAL.com StaffALBANY, Ore. -- After residents got a 7 a.m. wake up call from a SWAT team, narcotics detectives searched a house in the Portland area Friday and found:
Brown, 27, is wanted by police in Albany, Ore., in connection with what police called a conspiracy to deliver drugs to Linn County. Milwaukie, Ore., is almost a two-hour drive from Albany. Anyone with information on Brown's whereabouts is asked to call Albany Police Detectives at (541) 917-7686. Police served a search warrant at 12418 SE 27th Ave. in Milwaukie, Ore., where police said Brown had been living. Brown wasn't home when police arrived. Four people who were there, however, now face a variety of drug charges -- and got quite the start to their day. "My understanding is the SWAT team woke them up," said Captain Eric Carter with the Albany Police Department. "The people were asleep or at least in bed when they made their entry." The investigation stems from a March 23 search of a home in Tangent, Ore., Carter said, where police seized over 50 marijuana plants, 1/2 pound of marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms, cocaine and prescription pills. "What we learned there," Carter said, "led us to this residence up in Milwaukie, Ore." Police said the following people were arrested Friday on suspicion of the following charges:
