CRESWELL, Ore - A Creswell teenager is dead, and another is in intensive care after a car crash Wednesday. Lane County sheriff deputies said the driver might have been driving too fast.

The wreck happened just west of Creswell on Camas Swale Road near milepost six. Emergency personnel found a 1996 white Ford pickup flipped over on its top with two people inside.

Eighteen year old Brandon Leslie was the driver and was pinned inside the truck.  He  died at the scene.

His passenger, 16-year-old Kallie Botefur, was taken by helicopter to RiverBend Medical Center. She was listed in critical condition.

Sheriff deputies said both teenagers were wearing their seat belts and the cause of the accident is still under investigation, although speed is suspected to have been a factor.
