UO Alumni Marching Band celebrates Homecoming

A very special group helped ring in homecoming day at Autzen Stadium with style.

About 50 members of the Oregon Alumni Marching Bband returned to Autzen Stadium this afternoon to celebrate Homecoming Weekend.

Band members from all eras got together to spread spirit during pre-game festivities.

"Oh, it's awesome," says Alumni Marching Band member Laura Arthur. "I see people here that I haven't seen all year, people that I was in the band with and people who were in the band years before I was, and we all get together and have a great time."

The alumni joined the current marching band during the game. The alumni band also plays at the U of O's Pape' Jam basketball tournament, being held next month in Portland.
