Trophy buck deer dumped in Springfield subdivision
Police are looking for the person who dumped this trophy buck in a Springfield subdivision.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Someone illegally shot, butchered and dumped a trophy buck deer in a new subdivision in Springfield, Ore.

Police are asking for the public's help identifying the culprit or culprits.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call the T.I.P. (Turn in Poacher) line at 1-800-452-7888.

According to OSP Trooper Marc Boyd, the crime happened on or about June 1, 2009 when the deer's carcass and head was found dumped in a plastic tarp near Daisy Street and 48th Street in a new Springfield development.
