EUGENE, Ore. -- A woman has filed a lawsuit against former South Eugene soccer star Nate Jaqua, claiming Jaqua sexually assaulted her after leaving a bar near the University of Oregon campus.

Jaqua currently plays professional soccer for the Seattle Sounders.

The lawsuit, which also names Major League Soccer and numerous teams as defendants, claims Jaqua sexually assaulted the victim after leaving Rennie's Landing bar in July 2007.

In the suit filed Tuesday in Multnomah County, the woman says she is still tramautized by the attack.

Eugene police told KVAL News they did not have a case on the incident.
