SPRINGFIELD, Ore - Bring recycling is a non-profit recycler. The organization helps people learn how to use less by re-using materials.

“There's a lot of different things out there that most people don't realize don't need to go in to a land field and that’s one of the missions BRING has done over the years,” said Moses Messenger.

Messenger is a BRING volunteer and helps coordinate the ‘Bring It Home Tour’. The tour features homes and gardens of people in the community who have come up with creative ways to reduce their waste.

“Up to 90% of most waste can be recycled and reused throughout the house,” said Messenger.

He said the tour lets be see just how easy it is to cut back on the things your throw out by repurposing them.

The ‘Bring It Home’ tour will feature homes in Eugene, Springfield and Cottage Gove. The event kicks off Sunday, July 26th. Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 the day of the tour. Children aged 12 and under are free.
